Terms and Conditions
Peartree Cutfiles is based in the United Kingdom. Prices shown on the website are in GBP. All transactions are carried out in GBP (£). If you are purchasing from outside the UK, your Credit Card Company/Bank/Paypal will complete the conversion for you. If you would like to know the total in your currency before checking out, we suggest simply typing the amount into Google as that will have up-to-date conversion rates. Please note: You are responsible for any Customs and Duties charges for parcels entering your country as these are NOT collected at checkout.
Processing Times:
We are a small, family business and cut all items to order. We work as fast as we can but please allow up to 10 working days for us to process your order if it contains any physical products. This includes Pre-cut Cutfiles, Stencils, Acrylic Bits, Rulers and Wood/Cork Pieces. At busy times of the month e.g. following a new release or during sale/offer periods, processing times may be longer. If you are in need of an order more quickly, please contact us in advance of placing your order and we will see what we can do!
Due to the nature of the product we produce, orders are cut in batches, eg. all stencils first, then acrylic, then flair etc. So if your order only contain a few items, it can still take a while to process. Please bear this in mind when placing your order.
Freebies, Discounts and Coupons:
Where freebies are offered (currently, a free cutfile when you buy five full-price individual cutfiles) only one of each freebie type will be added to qualifying orders (e.g. if you buy ten cutfiles, you still get one freebie, not two).
When orders are placed for less than 5 cutfiles, sometimes the freebie cutfile still appears in your basket. This is a system glitch so unless 5 files are actually purchased, the freebie file will NOT be sent with pre-cut orders. For digital orders, download permissions will be removed.
Where a minimum spend applies to a freebie, the qualifying amount is AFTER any discounts so if you receive a discount for any reason and this takes your total below the minimum spend, you will not receive the freebie.
Project Packs, Specials and Bundles like Advent Calendars do not qualify for freebies or discounts regardless of spend as these are already heavily discounted. These items are also excluded from sales (such as Black Friday) unless specifically mentioned. Gift vouchers are also excluded from sales, freebies and discounts.
Discounts that auto-apply will show up in your basket. If an item does not display a discount it is likely that it is excluded or you have not reached the minimum spend (which is usually £5).
Discounts and coupons cannot be applied after an order has been placed so please ensure that any coupons or codes you intend to use are applied before checking out. If you believe items in your basket qualify for discount but the discount is not showing up, please contact us BEFORE checking out as discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.
Pearscribers must be logged into their account for the 15% discount to be applied automatically.
No refunds will be given for missed or forgotten discounts.
Any coupon codes/gift voucher codes given as prizes will expire 12 months after they have been issued to you so please ensure you use them within 12 months as they cannot be extended.
Orders:
It is your responsibility to check the contents of your basket – this includes quantities of items, colour choices and material choices. Please check your order carefully before paying for your order. If you have purchased something in error, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order and we will do our best to help. If you contact us after 24 hours and your order has already been cut, we will be unable to change it for you so please ensure your order is correct at the time of purchase.
If there are any issues with your order at all, please contact us within 24 hours and we will do our best to help resolve the situation, whatever it may be.
Refunds:
Due to high processing fees, any refunds issued for purchase errors will be given via Gift Card/discount code/store credit.
Your staturory rights are not affected.
Digital Cutfiles:
Digital files are sent as an immediate downloadable product. No physical product will be sent.
Cut files are for personal use ONLY. Digital files CANNOT be shared and are only for use by the purchaser for their own projects. If you require a commercial license, please contact me via the contact form on the website.
No refunds will be given for DIGITAL cutfiles under any circumstances so please ensure you check the contents of your basket before checkout.
Once your purchase is complete a link is provided for you to download the files in the shop in PNG, JPEG and SVG formats to use in your cutting machine. Newer files now also contain DXF files. For Cricut I recommend SVG and for Silhouette users I recommend PNG or JPEG.
Pre-cut Cutfiles:
All cutfiles are cut to order and therefore, unless a product is faulty (e.g. ripped or torn) no refunds will be given.
All cutfiles are displayed as images as if they were on a 12×12 layout.
If you require a cutfile to be a particular size, it is your responsibility to contact us before placing your order to see if this is possible for a particular cutfile and we will advise you either way. Refunds will not be given if a cutfile is the wrong size for your project and you have not contacted us in advance.
All cutfiles are cut from premium white or black textured cardstock and are sent in reusable grip seal bags.
Bits, Pieces, Tools and Stencils:
All Stencils, Acrylic Bits, Tools, Project Packs, Rulers and Wood/Cork Pieces are also cut to order and therefore, unless a product is faulty (e.g. damaged or broken) no refunds will be given.
